Ways to Give

The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House is a division of the Missouri Botanical Garden. You can support the work of the Butterfly House in any of the following ways: pavers, tributes, the annual fund, or a membership to the Missouri Botanical Garden.

PURCHASE A PAVER

Make your memories last a lifetime at the Sophia M Sachs Butterfly House when you purchase an engraved paving stone in the entry court. This is the perfect way to leave your mark in St. Louis. Pavers can be purchased to celebrate: The birth of a child, weddings, engagements, birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, or to honor or memorialize someone special in your life.

Your gift will be listed in the Bulletin (the Missouri Botanical Garden's publication that goes to 38,000 member households) and a card announcing your gift will be sent to the honoree. Pavers are engraved in a standard font with three lines and 12 characters per line for your text message. Your gift of $200 for each paver is fully tax-deductible and helps keep the work of the Butterfly House alive and growing. If you have questions, please call (314)-577-0291.

MAKE A TRIBUTE

Celebrate the birth of a child; share the joy of a wedding, birthday, anniversary, or graduation; Honor or memorialize someone special in your life.

A gift to the Tribute Fund supports the education programs at the Butterfly House and is fully tax deductible. The name of the honoree and the donor will be listed in the Bulletin (the Missouri Botanical Garden's publication that goes to 38,000 member households). A card acknowledging your generous gift will be sent to the person you designate; however no mention is made regarding the size of your donation. Tribute gifts can be made in any amount. If you would like to discuss other ways to honor someone with a gift, such as naming a tree at the Butterfly House, or for more information, please call 314-577-9495 .

SUPPORT THE ANNUAL FUND

The mission of the Butterfly House is to foster a greater understanding of plant and animal relationships in the environment in order to promote the conservation and restoration of natural habitats. This mission is served by providing science and natural history education in our community and the larger world and by promoting environmental stewardship through example. Over 12,000 students are involved in our structured educational programs, which are targeted to students in pre-school thru middle-school.

We need your help to support and expand these programs. Your gift to the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House Annual Fund allows us to continue our current programs and expand in new areas when possible. Please consider a generous tax-deductible gift to support our educational programs.
