The reception season spans May 1 to mid-October.  Receptions are hosted on the Emerson Terrace and Pavilion. Situated lakeside, amid a row of up-lit trees, this spacious, yet cozy setting provides a refreshingly beautiful beginning on that special evening.

The Pavilion can accomodate a maximum of 160 seated guests.  Space for a small band or DJ, dance floor and bar is included.

The Reception package includes: use of the facility from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM, rental of dining chairs and tables, opportunity for your guests to tour the Butterfly Flight House-a crystal conservatory alive with 1200 tropical butterflies, a bride's room equipped with full-length mirror, makeup table, and clothes rack (if applicable), ample free parking and event supervision.

The Butterfly House has contracted with four caterers:  Hendri's Catering, Patty Long Catering, Russo's Gourmet Catering and Villa Farotto Catering.  Each one offers a myriad of dining choices; from hearty hors d'oeuvres and cocktails to bountiful buffets or delectable seated dinners.

From the tour to the contract signing and throughout your special evening itself, the Butterfly House facility manager will assure your reception flows seamlessly from beginning to end.
